FDA Approved PPE Manufacturing
March 1st, 2020 was the first Covid-19 case on record in New York City the state of New York quickly became the epic center for the pandemic. Personal Protective Equipment was scarce for the brave Women and Men working in the front lines, as more Covid-19 patients landed in the hospital the professionals treating the patients were running low on personal protective equipment.
During this devesting time, Story Tellers and Creators signed a contract with the city of New York with a goal of providing 100,000 FDA approved medical gowns to the hospitals of New York. This contract called for Arturo Castaneda owner of Story Tellers and Creators to create a production team made up of 84 creators that were divided into 3 groups.
Group 1: Tailors.
Group 2: Product Cutters.
Group 3: Packagers.

The contract created jobs during the pandemic a stressful time for New York City residents and people around the world, on March 23rd, 2020 production began at the Story Tellers and Creators Factory in Brooklyn New York. Owner and Leader Arturo Castaneda gathered his team together and went to work. 84 production team members worked together to reach their goal, in tough times people need to come together to overcome tough situations and this is exactly what the Story Tellers and Creators production team did.
On July 24th, 2020 was the last day of production at the Factory, the team reached their goal of 10,000 FDA approved medical gowns and donated over 80.000 masks to the public with their leader Arturo Castaneda by their side leading the way.
